Mounting FAT32 partition

Hi, I'm new to FreeBSD. Having only installed FreeBSD 6.1 for about 3 weeks. I have a few questions that I hope you guys can help me out with.

1.) I would like to mount a FAT32 partition RW, my /etc/fstab entry for this partition is as follows
Code:
/dev/ad0s5 /mnt/ad0s5 msdosfs rw 0 0
and the permissions to the partition is as such
Code:
> ls -al /mnt |grep ad0s5
drwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 8192 Dec 31 1979 ad0s5
I can only read but not write to this FAT32 partition. a.) What do I have to do to be able to write to this partition? b.) Do I need to change the permissions, perhaps even alter /etc/devfs.conf or /etc/sysctl.conf? c.) Also why is it that the date seems wrong for this FAT32 partition? My other drives are all realistic and "normal".

Code:
ls -al /mnt
total 21
drwxr-xr-x 7 root wheel 512 Sep 14 21:13 .
drwxr-xr-x 20 root wheel 512 Sep 2 13:54 ..
drwxr-xr-x 2 root wheel 512 Aug 31 17:24 ad0s1
drwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 8192 Dec 31 1979 ad0s5
drwxr-xr-x 4 root wheel 4096 Aug 17 01:07 ad1s10
drwxr-xr-x 22 root wheel 1024 Aug 31 19:36 ad1s6
drwxr-xr-x 2 root wheel 512 Aug 31 17:24 ad1s9

Didn't work.

Here's what I got.

Code:
# mount /dev/ad0s5
mount_msdosfs: -o user: option not supported

However the following entry in /etc/fstab did the trick.

Code:
/dev/ad0s5 /mnt/ad0s5 msdosfs rw,-m=777 0 0
Thanks for trying though rednuht.
