Has anybody before mounted a FreeBSD disk file ? Any pointers on how can I mount a FreeBSD vmdk file? |
Just to add more info...I have been able to mount it using "vmware-mount.pl" utility on a Fedora BOX but in readonly mode.
I think the reason for it is that my Kernel support mounting UFS2 filesystem in readonly mode. How can I make my Kernel mount UFS2 filesystem in Read/Write mode on a Linux BOX? Has anyone before used "vmware-mount.pl" utility to mount UFS2 filesystem in Read/Write mode? |
There is an app out there for mounting UFS/UFS2 fs in windows, but it's read only. UFS Explorer.
As far as I know, write support is not available in Linux (yet). |
May you write the command you used for mount the ufs partition?
Thanks. |
