Question Is it possible to install FreeBSD (or any variants) in a multiboot system?

I'm looking to create a multiboot system where I can boot from Windows as well as a number of Linux distros and BSD variants. I hope to be able to install FreeBSD and any variants, including HardenedBSD together in the same system.

Of course, that's easier said than done.
So I wonder if anyone knows how to do it.

Thanks.

I know from past experience, years ago, that it would work, but seemed like you had to use the *BSD boot manager to control the computer, (this was back in the days of XP).

Different ways of doing this, EFI or GPT or old style DOS MBR - managed via the Linux boot manager, or via FreeBSD's, even by Windows, etc. So very open question. It also depends on if you're putting everything on one physical drive or if you will have a number at your disposal. You could search the FreeBSD official forums and see what advice has been given there in the past.

Personally I'd say that for an MBR setup, you're going to be extremely limited if you try to use one drive - and you'll probably need GPT and efi boot to boot all the different OS in that case.

If you're just experimenting with various OS, you could try installing in VMs instead.
