What you are essentially asking is "closed source project abc used some FreeBSD code and their OS is vulnerable to xyz, does that mean FreeBSD is vulnerable too?"
The answer is "maybe". But as FreeBSD is the upstream in this case, then it's not really useful to lose any sleep over it.
