Information needed: Zip 250 IDE

I am getting ready to load freeBSD 4.8 for the first time, and I am doing an inventory of my hardware, gathering the details to help the install go smoothly.

I have an Iomega IDE 250 Meg ZIP drive, but I can't seem to find any info about using such a device in a freeBSD system. I have read through the ZIP drive secton of the docs on freeBSD.org, but the focus was on version 3.2 and the parallel port version of the ZIP. Other information mentioned the ZIP 100 and remarked that support was rudimentary.

I assume that either a) this device is not a good choice for a freeBSD system, or b) there is nothing remarkable about the device that warrants special mention.

I am hoping for "b".

I would appreciate any heads up or pointers about the ZIP 250 and freeBSD.

I am 98% sure b is the answer. A search of the mailing list/groups would verify , google groups will do it.
