info only no support for xfs

I got my linuxformat mag dvd and installed PCBSD.

I inserted my xfs usb stick and no joy and here is the reason
http://forums.pcbsd.org/viewtopic.ph...&highlight=xfs

I looked into its /rescue and /sbin folders and saw not a lot of support for other journalised fs.

oh well.

2) the reason for my post is that the forum reply is to use fat...yep MS and I am not a great fan of that fs.

3) pls do not hang me for posting info....you are welcome to try BSD ....love it and cherish it.....I also agree that volunteers do not have time to satisfy all of my whims so it it not a gripe just an observation.

4) BTW the software install system is magnificent altho at time of my peek, limited.

Give it a try if you are an intermediate linux user or a slacker as they use BSD boot scripts as well.
