HardenedBSD update

...does not work for me.
HardenedBSD installed as virtual guest
issuing
>hbsd-update
generates error:
>Could not get the version number.

>uname -a
FreeBSD Ephemeral 12.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 12.0-CURRENT #0 [DEVEL:HardenedBSD-CURRENT-amd64:943]: Thu Aug 24 15:33:11 UTC 2017 root@nyi-01.build.hardenedbsd.org:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/HARDENEDBSD amd64

I would appreciate any suggestions how to sole this problem.

Thank you

Maybe another will provide exact issue.

I suspect that the code of this https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Ha...te/hbsd-update leads us to why it might complain about version number. It isn't the kernel you have but I think it can't access the verions it wants to in the script. Why it can't is unknown.

I am very sorry for the late response. Unfortunately work pushes pleasure on the backburner.
Anyway, yes I read HBSD git page about upgrade script. I was just hoping that maybe someone is using Hardened and will be able to provide good solution.
I decided to try latest stable and maybe -current again.
If problem persists I will go back to FBSD, although as virtual guest Free suffers other problems.

Thank you
