freebsd: which version to choose?
 

hello,

ive been tinkering with linux for oh say about 2 years and feel like putting on the big boy pants and would like to tinker and explore the more advanced bsd(unix). i would like to know what is the difference between 4.11 and the latest STABLE version known to man know. does it have more software,better hardware support, faster and or is it more secure? but my main question is which one is the more advanced/ up to date and STABLE?
