FreeBSD 5.2 install - Keyboard not working
 

Hi, Im trying to install FreeBSD 5.2 on an old amd 233Mhz. It doesnt have a ps/2 port so Im having to use an AT keyboard. Ive tried 2 of them.

They keyboard stops responding when I get to the "sysinstall Main Menu".

I do have a p200 Ive been running FreeBSD on for a few months with an AT keyboard and that install went smoothly (tried that same keyboard). Any idea's on this one?

go into the boot console.

suppress detaching the atkbd driver after reset failure:
set hint.atkbd.0.flags="0"

boot -c

Also 5.2 RC-1 does not have this problem...
