i am totally newbie on this matter, so please be patient

so i've succesfully installing OpenBSD 4.2 (dual boot with win vista). after that, i see the default firefox version on OpenBSD 4.2 is 2.0.0.6 !

unfortunately, i can't get firefox 2.0.11 for OpenBSD on firefox/mozilla official site. however, i wanna installing it on my OpenBSD 4.2 box. please tell me how do i !

in fact, i'm on studying about browser user agent, its one of my purpose to try installing firefox 2.0.11 on my OpenBSD 4.2 box. perhaps, anybody here can give me the REAL/ORIGINAL user agent of firefox 2.0.11 on OpenBSD 4.2 ? i've searched on google, but can't get it !

You need to be running -stable or -current to get any updates. The basic 4.2-release won't get any updates after it's release.

Sadly I recall that -stable hasn't had maintainer in a while so best bet would be in running -current or you can make your own port of firefox. Either that or compile it from sources yourself.

oke thanks, now can you tell me the right way to compile it the sources. i don't know how to do it (i'm newbie), and google can't get the right article link

Just read the documentation from the source package. Install all config files to /etc, package itself should be installed to /usr/local.

That's about it. You can check the options that OpenBSD uses from the ports directory.
It's probably something like /usr/ports/www/mozilla-firefox/Makefile
