Firefly BSD?

Is Firefly BSD any good. How does it compare with the "all time greatest" freebsd.

FireFly BSD is just a commercial version of DragonFly BSD. I don't know why you wouldn't download DF instead. As for how it compares to FreeBSD, it is based off a branch of the 4.x tree of FreeBSD -- except that they are working on several new features and a different way of doing SMP.

Now, some of us would take issue with calling FreeBSD the "all time greatest." It happens to be the one I use the most but none of the BSDs really compete like that. They are all good.

I also like Freebsd the best, makes a great server as well as a great desktop, I have never tried dragonFLY BSD but I have heard its an excelent OS but someone told me the install can be tricky!
