Epia C3 CPU freq scaling with FreeBSD

I considering installing monowall (based on freebsd 4.9) on an Epia C3 based motherboard (ITX). This motherboard runs hot at 1GHz and I would like the OS to scale down the frequency to 600Hz when load allows. Does FreeBSD 4.9 support frequency scaling?

I've gotten it to work under Fedora, I just can't find any reference to LM support in FreeBSD. Thanks
