Dual CPU's FreeBSD 4.9

I have a box running FreeBSD4.9. It has dual Xeon 2.66Ghz. I built the kernel to support smp. When I run top it does not display all of them. But it does display them when I run

dmesg |more

Any trick to show them in top?
