Dragonflybsd no gui

Hello . I have a old dell poweredge 2950 server with 32gb memory and a raid controller and a on board vga chip.

Now i have installed dragonflybsd everything works except a gui.
When i install xorg and i start the gui with startx i get no signal on my monitor and i must turn off the server .
When i installed the vesa driver and modify the xorg.conf file for the vesa driver and i start xorg then i get a black screen .

On freebsd i get a working gui .
Dragonflybsd i want with a working gui .
What is this problem ? What can i do?
I think that dragonflybsd is not made for a dell poweredge 2950.
Strange that i did not find any solution on the internet .
Very irritating problem.
Dragonflybsd is not really helpfull on their site . Only old information is avalaible.

Otherwise, what graphics card is fitted? (It probably just needs a driver installed).

At a minimum you should have an OpenSSH server running. That way you can ssh in, kill X, reboot, examine log files, etc.

You could also try switching VTs when the screen goes black? Did you try that?

Not much else to go on... no real info about the hardware there. From searching the web, it might be some early Radeon graphics chip. Ideally you'd provide that info.

The Dell Poweredge 2950 is an old server. It will be using the Intel video driver, but it might be a problem were kernels have too new of a driver for the old chip?
Over 5 years ago we did a big push to decommission them as the capacitors were failing on the mobos and some even short circuited and we were worried it could set off the fire suppression in the datacenter.

From my research it actually used the ATI ES1000 integrated graphics chip. This had no acceleration of any sort.

Install OpenSSH server and just run it headless, not worth the trouble.
