configuring and freebsd router

hi all,

iam trying to confgure and router with my freebsd pc
this is my rc.conf

ifconfig_xl0="inet netmask"
ifconfig_xl1="inet netmask"

The bsd can see the pcs inside the lan and outside of it, but they cant see eachothers (the inside ( cant see the outside and the outside cant see the inside)

this is the netstat -r comand

I'm not at all guru on networking, but isn't the netmask meant to be `'?

Did you compile all the appropriate options into the kernel?

Well thanks for your help!
but i think i found the error and it wasnt on the bsd machine but in my inside Linux pc... damm to mutch hours to figer it out!!
The netwok its well configurated because i need to have two networks thats why i have .248 and .252
