Clean-up After Failed KDE Install
I tried installing KDE on my secondary FreeBSD box and after about 27 hours it had completely filled a 4gb /usr partition and crapped out. I'm not sure why it filled the filesystem but I think it may have been because I did a portinstall rather than a "make install clean." I did a "make clean" for KDE which removed all the extra files. This brought the occupied /usr space down to about 45%.
Now my problem is...how do I convince FBSD that KDE was, at least, partially installed so that I can deinstall KDE and start over? When I try reinstalling KDE I get errors but I'm not at the computer right now and don't remember what they are.
Thanks,
Kent
