Can't load kernel / Can't load kernel.old

I just installed another 512mb ram in my Freebsd 4.6.2 server...
When the system was going to boot for the first time, it gave me this error:

can't load 'kernel'
can'r load 'kernel.old'

Anyone who can tell me whats going on, and why... ?

Thx in advantage.
