I tend to just install base, plus firefox-esr, and set .xsession to use cwm https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...me-4175688034/ OpenBSD doesn't work with my laptop wifi, so I boot a lightweight Linux that sets up sound and wifi net connection, and kvm/qemu boot OpenBSD (so it picks up on the Linux wifi connection as though it were a ethernet). Get reasonable throughput using that, 30Mbs down, 10Mbs up (asymmetric speeds with uploads restricted to 10Mbs by ISP). As I have both Linux and OpenBSD running concurrently, I can mix/match what I run where. Primarily I use OpenBSD for browsing for its better security i.e. more obscured .ssh keys ...etc. 4MB 2 core Acer Aspire ES 15 laptop, AMD E1 with Radeon R2 graphics. |
