Hello, I am having a bit of trouble getting X up and running on FreeBSD. Every time i try and start X I get "Bad Display Name in remove command". If anyone could shed some light on this it would be greatly appreciated!!

Have you added your hostname alias to /etc/hosts?

Something like this:
::1                     timmeh               timmeh
