Debian Jessie (old stable, rock solid and extensive repository) desktop. OpenBSD 6.2 server (6.3 has just been released).

Virgin Media Hub/router off which a old single core headless Celeron has base OpenBSD installed + mariaDB, wordpress, php, mc and is open to the internet (http, https, ssh ports forwarded to that in the Virgin Hub). Wireless open to guests.

Netgear router WAN port plugged into a LAN port of the Virgin Hub, and all other local PC's, restricted/private wireless etc. sit behind that Netgear (isolated from the OpenBSD Server LAN Segment.

Used to have the Celeron (OpenBSD) box next to the TV so I could plug that in as a monitor making upgrades etc. easier. Now the Celeron is linked via a mains power LAN ethernet extender device (pair of plugs) and is upstairs in the small room so upgrading OpenBSD from 6.2 to 6.3 will require one of the existing desktop PC monitors to be used. I've recently added another net card to that Celeron box, with the intent to also make it a router and as a additional guest/open wireless alternative access point (virgin box and netgear are both downstairs, so having another access point upstairs will improve upstairs access signal strength).

My main IP is mostly static, but can change, so I have a permanent web address (domain name) and dynamic host client service installed so that I can consistently remotely access the server via the domain name. Only a single web cam connected at present (looking out/down so the front garden can be viewed), however I plan to add more along with some power switching/controls (remote home automation type functions).

One of my FreeBSD 11.1-RELEASE-p9 machines with a new wallpaper I made, which puts me at over 60 available for download.

I use a file manager so often it's more efficient to leave one open and scrolled when not in use. I use the terminal a lot too, so I keep one open at the top between Gkrellm2 and XFe, scrolled when not in use. I like to monitor my system so I usually keep another terminal open at the bottom running top. It comes in handy having 2 open if I'm compiling ports or doing something in one and need to do something else. And I like listening to music when I use the computer so XMMS stays open. :)

And you thought Skynet was only in the movies...

Edit: I switched from Eterm to urxvt and a courier font for all text to get a more consistent system-wide look.

cwm as window manager. full-screen xclock, xterm and firefox ... and then alt-tab to flip between the 'windows'.

Use vi to create html documents, display them using firefox and print to PDF and/or display pdf's. Can also use firefox to file:// ... as a file browser, play videos ...etc. etc. (Even a word processor/calendar/diary etc. via online).

mpv for playing sounds/videos

cwm configuration (~/.cwmrc) can be just a handful of lines, such as assigning key-codes for volume up/down.

Temporarily installed mtpaint to make the screen captures.

sshfs is also a nice additional ... handy to mount my openbsd server as /mnt/celeron ... or whatever - so its as though that were just another local folder. I have that server connected directly to the ISP hub's firewall (192.168.1.x network), but all other systems behind another router/firewall (10.0.0.x network), so isolated from the server should that get hacked.

FreeBSD 11.1 and Mate. Running well. :)

NetBSD 8.0 on Dell Optiplex 755. JWM windowmanager with rox-filer. It's easier for me to get a windowmanager with a separate filemanager going without any errors and bugs on NetBSD than a desktop environment. Created a new jwm-theme.

The Thinkpad X61 running FreeBSD 11.1-RELEASE-p10 that serves as my .mp3 player. It's never online and couldn't be running better so I don't bother updating it.
