FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

June 9th, 2006 -- LinuxQuestions.org is proud to announce the addition of the "LQ Job Marketplace", which will allow employers to post available positions for Linux, Open Source and programming related jobs. The LQ Job Marketplace will allow postings for full-time, part-time, permanent, temporary and contract positions.
There will be a nominal one time fee associated with posting a new job, while viewing available positions will remain free for both LQ members and guests. Visit http://www.linuxquestions.org/jobs to go directly to the LQ Jobs Marketplace. As an introductory offer, all job postings are currently discounted 20%.

"There has been an increasing demand by companies to be able to post available positions at LinuxQuestions.org", said site founder Jeremy Garcia. "The addition of the LQ Jobs Marketplace falls in line with the mission of the site, which is to support and promote the Linux and Open Source communities. The marketplace will give companies exposure to LQ's over 250,000 registered members as well as the huge number of monthly visitors, while allowing members of the community to find positions that will allow them to work with Linux and Open Source", he continued.
