This updated release provides increased scalability of virtualized x86_64 environments, support for the new Intel Core i7 (Nehalem) processors and the inclusion of the OpenJDK Java implementation. OpenJDK is a high-performance, fully open source implementation of the widely adopted Java SE 6. Other added kernel features include the software-based Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) driver and along with libfc provides the ability to run FCoE over a standard Ethernet card."
