Description: A beefier RHEL4 clone, this comes 'fully-loaded', for use in the science community. It adds apps and code for LAN-to-LAN/WAN-to-WAN Group File Sharing, research & development and lab goodies. In its x86_64 version (also available in LiveDVD format), the /usr/lib 32bit section is out-of-the-box fully compatible with RHEL4 Extras, SunJRE, RealPlayer, Flashplayer, and other 3rd party apps & plugins that bork under some 64bit OS's.
Tested on Pentium4 ATI box with Radeon 9200Pro video and 1gig RAM. Good hardware detection. Full developer install took about 16 minutes, from 5 CDs. YMMV. http://www.scientificlinux.org/
