I am running 5.7 .exe
Inside of a Compaq CQ57 Windows 7 partition as a program install.
Boot screen gives me Choice between Windows 7 or Puppy SlackO 5.7.
I run it this way because Compaq from the factory uses 4 primary partitions from Boot to Tools.
Everything Works out of the box. Better and faster than a Ubuntu wubi install or any other internal Linux inside of Windows install. I have done this before with SlackO 5.6.
When I wanted to change to 5.7. I just uninstall Puppy through Add/Remove programs. This is a frugal install and
personal save file can be expanded or backed up.
Lot's of control and I can run browser as user spot.
Puppy 5.7 SlackO has everything I need and speed vs Windows 7 puts Windows 7 to shame.
I highly recommend this vs a Ubuntu wubi install or a Mint4win install.
Pretty much a generic review as I am just a Biker who owns a Linux capable computer.
