Pros: Really newbie friendly, smooth, several themes, simple Debian menu for x-windows converts.
Cons: Usual Debian requirements etc: Experienced will have to add some of their old favorites

I were on Google+ and we were discussing problems with Ubuntu. And this fellow from Spain chimed in and suggested I try Solus OS. So I did. I were looking for a user friendly OS so my girls would be comfortable with Linux. Right away off the install daughter jumped right in and went to her usual routine. Any way you'll have to add your favorite games. But otherwise it's a well planned install process. I was impressed with the Developer's touch in the process. If drivers and firewall give you shivers, There's a built in Start Here pop-up that will guide you through all the set-ups.
Compiz is included for the effect junkies. This is really a friendly Debian set up. Ikey the developer, is 'around' the social world being himself so you can keep up with Solus news. Great people smooth system. I gave a ten rating because all I do is test or run Linux systems for experience. Retired and bored. So this baby jumped off the reboot and went to work. 10, Ikey.
