Linux Journal is definitely a worthwhile, affordable magazine to pick up on a monthly basis (or subscribe, whatever your poison). I've seen many great articles in there, including most recently an article on ATA Over Ethernet (or Storage Area Networks).
The response to readers' letters is most impressive, with the author of the article often responding directly.
Overall the Linux Journal is an excellent buy and a Great Read :)
