Description: "Kororaa 14 ('Nemo') final been released for download, in 32-bit and 64-bit variants with KDE and GNOME. This version is recommended for all new installs; however, existing beta 6 users need not reinstall. Given that there were no major bugs in beta 6, this month's update brings the first final release. Work will now begin on a beta 15 Fedora remix. New features: update to KDE 4.6.3. Bug fixes: nothing noteworthy. We'd love to hear your feedback on the forums, so download it today!"

Pros: A major distribution with some added polish
Cons:

According to its developer, "Kororaa was born out of a desire to make Linux easier for new users, while still being useful for experts." An earlier version was based on Gentoo, but Chris has now decided to use Fedora.

Kororaa is available with both the KDE and Gnome desktops; I tested Gnome.

Fedora has never been particularly difficult, provided one actually knows what one needs to do. In Kororaa, the third party repositories are enabled by default; media codecs are pre-installed; there is an option to install the Flash plugin and NVIDIA and AMD/ATI video drivers. There are also a few welcome changes to the software on the installation disk: VLC instead of Totem, LibreOffice instead of OpenOffice. The installer insists on ext4, despite offering you a choice, because it installs by copying a disk image.

Those programs that had bugs in Fedora 14 (such as Bluefish) naturally have bugs in Kororaa 14. What you get is what you'd get with Fedora after a lot of extra googling and downloading.
