Pros: Detailed information
Cons: Requires understanding if C++

After many years of C++ programming on various Unix's I had my own set of librar
ies and functions that I carried with me from job to job.

I had leaned C++ prior to the C++ STL being released.
This book got me up to speed quickly and is a great reference book.
