This distro is Xubuntu with pre-installed media codecs and flash. The same description could apply to Mint, so what's the difference? Mint works.

The download page, instead of delivering a file, fed its contents to my browser! Many people would give up at that stage. When I ran the live DVD, I was faced with a request for a name and password. They certainly had not been mentioned on the web-site. I visited the forum and found several people had asked about that, to be told the details are on Facebook. The forum was rather depressing. The "register" link was broken, and there was clearly no check on those who did manage to register:it was full of spam.

When I got the live version running, there was an icon on the desktop to launch the standard Ubuntu installer, which worked. Rebooting after the installation did not, locking up the computer.

When things were finally running, there was nothing exceptional to see. The plug-ins and codecs were there as promised, although Mplayer was broken. Gigolo was also broken, so other partitions on the hard drive could only be mounted manually.

Making a distribution is a big job for one man, and it has proved too big in this instance. If you want Xubuntu enhanced, get Mint. This is Xubuntu made worse.
