Voilla... :p
How would you feel when you finally find your dream product..
Though not a expert, I have been trying a lot of :Pengy: Linux Distribution for a alternative to Windows for my DELL 500 Laptop. Wats the need of windows if Linux has really come out with such OS. My biggest concern was my Wifi , LAN , Sound, Video , PDF viewer and a terminal to practice linux commands. Now I have all my requirements fulfilled.
Downloaded the distribution from Ubuntu official Website, burnt to CD in Win Xp. Booted smoothly, though the installation was a little tricky:confused: specially during partition(I :( stuck there for 10 min, as i wanted to Dual Boot Ubuntu with Win-XP), everything else went as smoothly as possible.
Though I got confused how to connect to WIFI, :study: reading the official Documentation told me what to do & Believe me its can't be any simpler. The update manager was simple & effective. When i first tried to run MP3 files, totem player refused but then agreed after automatic package download. I didn't have to bother.
Finally I have decided to rest with Ubuntu 9.04.
Thanks to Ubuntu Team for their excellent effort . ;)
