Pros: It seems to be very stable and have what Windows users want.
Cons: There are not very many project members and we still need more people to manage the IRC. Packman still needs some work.

First of all:

Some have pointed out that I will make people angry if I release this under the GPLv3 so as of this moment on 12/03/07 at 04:23 PM Pacific Standard Time any software that is released under the GPLv2 will stay under the GPLv2. Also any software I created or released myself will be under the GPLv3. I just needed to get that out of the way.

Now that we have that out of the way it's hard for me to write a review of my own Distro or OS. All I can say is it's almost everything that I set out for. You can install debian and rpm files although you need to be a master programmer to install debian. The Snyaptic Repositories work well thanks to PCLinuxOS. Windows users seem to love it.

The nice UI provided by Vixta Linux is very inviting to the Windows User. I can't seem to get rid of all the PCLinuxOS logos and I don't know if I should. The PCLinuxOS community wants credit but does not want anyone using Ultumix to ask them for help. Thats where I'm confused.

---------------------------------------------------------
Of course there has to be a dark side to this tale. Ever sense I started asking the PCLinuxOS people questions on how they wanted me to remaster and for assistance they banned me from their project and asked that I not have any Ultumix users ask them for support. Also all qwest customers in my area are also banned from the PCLinuxOS site and IRC now as well. :(

For this reason among others I wont ban anyone who uses my SF.net forums or IRC unless they cuss, swear, or try to make people mad on purpose.

I don't know where I went wrong but I'm sorry.

Pros: None
Cons:

Don't waste your time. Maybe in a couple years it will work better.
