This book was included with my Unix System Administration with Athabasca University. I am really pleased by the choice Athabasca made in selecting it.
First of all, this book is extremely well written. The authors know their stuff very well and add tips on specific problems encountered in the real world. Also, I really enjoyed the small jokes interspersed throughout the text, it made it soooo much more fun to read!
The coverage of 4 unix versions is indeed very valuable. At first, I tought it would get me lost by jumping all around between the unix'es. But they only make notations when something is done differently on that OS.
The book has a broad coverage and fairly deep coverage of bind and sendmail.
This is a book you WANT to keep close as a reference...I sure referred to it many times (which I rarely with books I buy!!)
BUY THIS ONE!!!
