Would you recommend the product? yes | Price you paid?: None indicated | Rating: 5

Pros: localised to slovene, easy installation, short installation, easy on newbies, all gui config tools
Cons: all gui config tools, a lot of preinstalled packages, based on RH9 :D, after a while all the tools start to get in your way, hard to remove packages, no support for source packages (tarballs)

The distro is freely downloadable / they are giving cd's away for free. if you want you can buy a 400 page booklet "finding your way in gnu-linux" which explains everything about the system that is not apparent on the 1st glance. It autodetects all your hardware (anaconda) and is quite good at everything redhat is.

But that simplicity has it's cost... after 15 tries i have not been able to upgrade to a vanilla kernel (gentoo users should know what i'm talking about :D ) from the default 2.4.20-20.9 and the apt-get is sooo outdated... before they post any packages on-site, they translate them all and that takes months.. so you have to run software with memory leaks :D.

Plus no developement software is translated except kdevelop, so it's hard on script programmers.

I'd recommend the original RH9 over this distro enormously, except if you are no good at english.
