Although it is the only Linux Admin book I've used, I chose it for the pro's mentioned above. The section on networking has been extremely helpful for troubleshooting networking problems and configuring networking protocols.
It has proven to be an invaluable reference for hardware configuring. It explains the boot process in detail, kernel compiling and configuring, and helps demistify many of the processes seen from: "#ps aux"
The section on DNS is difficult to understand and is explained not nearly as well as the rest of the book. This is understandable considering books have been devoted to explaining it. This keeps me from giving it a 10.
