Description: "Manjaro Linux 0.8.3 has been unleashed. The core system has been upgraded to boost performance and responsiveness, resulting in even faster start-up, shut-down, and operational speeds. The official Manjaro repositories have been transformed with an abundance of updated and brand-new packages. Many software packages themselves have been exclusively patched by the Manjaro team for stability. Accessibility has also been enhanced. New user-friendly desktop tools have been added to easily manage user accounts and to configure the system. A full and comprehensive 66-page user guide has been produced."

Pros: fast and configurable, many DE's to choose from, rolling distro
Cons: learning curve, is that really a con? :)

This is my first experience with an Arch based distro. I currently run Manjaro with Xfce, and LOVE it. It is highly customizable, it's very snappy (even on my ancient hardware), and with the GUI's provided in Manjaro, even I can use Arch! They have a very nice pacman GUI, with a stocked repository of newer software, and with yaourt I have access to AUR! I do believe my distro-hopping days are over, and with Manjaro being a rolling distro, I will never have to do a fresh install again! (unless it's for fun, I can't help but play)
I highly recommend Manjaro 0.8.3 for newbie and experienced users alike. If you do happen to stumble along the way, the user manual is a great place to turn to, andthe Manjaro Forum is a wonderful community that is willing to help out.
Congrats to the Manjaro Team on a wonderful distro! :)
