The last time I tried Frugalware I had problems, but at least I got it installed.

This time, the gui installer was still crashing with a “fatal server error” message. The text-based installer is not for the beginner; these days even an experienced user may be at a loss when asked to set up their hard disk with fdisk. The installer finally stopped with an error and a recommendation to reboot the computer. I might have tried again, but I didn’t. With some 30 distros available which install without trouble, why bother with something like this?
