Enlightenment doesn’t appeal to everybody

Bodhi now has a 64-bit version, but I tested the 32-bit one. Basically, everything I said about version 1 applies to version 2.
PCManFM crashed occasionally. The Flash plug-in for the browser has to be installed, and if you have a Pentium 4, you can get it using Synaptic. Do not do that if you have an earlier Pentium or an AMD: Bodhi provides version 11 which won’t work, so get version 10 from the Adobe archive. The tool to configure sound didn’t work, but creating ~/.asoundrc enabled me to use my USB speakers.
If you like the Enlightenment window manager, you’ll like Bodhi (and the only real alternative is AtlasX).
