Pros:
Cons:

On the positive side, the installer worked and was successful in applying encryption. The Mate desktop also worked perfectly. Unfortunately, the Software Centre is still broken, and so are Banshee and the Update Manager, which had worked in the last edition.

Snow, with its Debian- and Ubuntu-based versions seems to be trying to compete with Mint. Unfortunately, it doesn’t.
