Description:
"The Fuduntu quarterly installation ISO image (2012.1) is now available for immediate download. This release marks a shift in release numbering. Going forward, Fuduntu releases will be numbered as follows: Year.Release. As we are a rolling release distribution with quarterly snapshots, you should expect four roll-up releases this year. We do not define a specific release date, we release when we believe it is ready which may happen at any time after the beginning of each quarter. Package updates in this release: Linux Kernel 3.1.6, Chromium 16, Adobe Flash Player 11.1.102.55. Many new packages are available in the repository including Xfce 4.8, LibreOffice 3.4.3, and Firefox and Thunderbird 9."

Pros:
Solid and reliable

Cons:
although still rather small

Only a couple of months have passed since the last snapshot DVD, but the repository is coming along nicely: Evolution has arrived, although there’s still no Gnucash. The contents of the repository are beginning to show up under categories in gpk as well (see the last review for this problem).
I decided to try test Fuduntu again after reading an unfavourable review. The reviewer had created a live USB (using software from another distro) and then added LibreOffice, which crashed his system when run. He then blamed Fuduntu! Rest assured, if you install Fuduntu properly, nothing will crash: I’m preparing this review in LibreOffice on Funduntu.
