Pros: a good linux magazine of its kind in INDIA,good linux software provided
Cons: not too much matter is available for the price paid

hi...
have read many editions of the book, and it hs improved from where it started.
the software bundles with it is good, but the matter in the magazine needs to be improved more..

it has given a local perspective to linux , but an international perspective is lacking.

also it has two booklets, one for the newbees and one for professionals

a good magazine to buy..

regards

Quite a few issues of LFY have had articles that are of EXTREMELY high quality. It varies from month to month, but almost every month has *something* I want to read, even including articles on BLender!

There are THREE discs with it, 1 DVD and 2 CDs which is beyond belief! (but maybe I'm wrong, because it's a long time since I bought one )

It's just unfortunate that the good articles aren't EVERY month :(
