This is actually the lightest Salix, even compared with the Fluxbox version, and would just about run in 128MB.
Abiword and Gnumeric replace LibreOffice, the browser is Midori, and Whaaw is used for the media player. I found Midori a bit slow, but the other software worked well as in other Salix versions. LXDE has few configuration tools, and is not as well documented as Fluxbox, so it's best suited to those who don’t need to do much configuration, or who don’t mind hunting for the right file to alter. I never did find out how to set sub-pixel smoothing...
