Pros: Especially good for low power hardware, fast, light and easily customization
Cons: You have to add the extras, if you need them

Great OS based on Ubuntu, but without the "fat".

I use it on an early Lenovo S10 netbook (2Gb RAM)with very satisfactory results. I find it especially useful in using Google services to the maximum benefit.

Easy customization and you start with minimal extras, so simply add what you need, if you need to add anything.

If there is a downfall for some it would be the lack of extras that you find in Ubuntu. I prefer to add in, rather delete out.

One last point is I have found Lubuntu does an excellent job in giving me a feel for th new Chrome OS, while still having an "offline" computer to work with.

Outstanding job Lubuntu!!
