Description: "Red Hat is pleased to announce the availability of the latest update to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4, release 4.9 (with kernel 2.6.9-100.EL) for a family of products. This is the final minor release for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4. With this release Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 will be entering production 3 phase during which qualified security errata advisories of critical impact, as well as, selected urgent priority bug-fix errata may be released."

Pros: Still compatible with Kylix
Cons: Last version compatible with Kylix


Kylix used a specific system call that was 'depreciated' by the master Linux distribution, I think the only time it has happened, I don't know that for sure, but the dropping of the OS service the IDE used makes this the last distribution that can be used with KYLIX (Kylix is a RAD system that uses Object Pascal to generate native Linux code).
