I downloaded the distro shortly after the freshmeat announcement -- just in case.

Today I needed a SPAM filter in-a-hurry, and there it was!

A lowly Dell with Win2K when I started work, was transformed in about 45 minutes into a dual postfix, mailscanner/spamassasin setup happily filtering mail on my employer's network.

I'm looking forward to freeing up several more MS licenses using Sentinix to build a Snort network.

What most intrigues me at this point is the option to have Sentinix boxes operate as openMosix nodes.
I'm not sure what I could do with them, but the idea of turning all of the aging PC's around here into cluster members has the hair standing up on the back of my neck.

Sentinix is a nifty tool for my emergency kit.
