Pros:
Pre-loaded VLC and other apps time-saving; ease of use
Cons:
App-Runner's automatic expiration of root session annoying
A linux newbie, I found Jaunty a little buggy (or was it just me?), so went to Karmic AMD64. Had trouble with virtualization and had to reload OS. Tried Super OS 9.10 x386 and immediately installed Bastille. This set-up I find stable and I like it, VLC especially. I don't use Instant Messaging or Skype, but they're available on install and would appeal to many, I presume. Overall, an improvement over plain Ubuntu (for a neophyte, in particular).
