Pros: From creator of C++
Cons: a bit difficult



This excellent book was written by Creator of C++ language. It contains full review of C++ language with STL , OOP and other features. Must read for every C++ programmer.

But itś not for beginners

Pros: describes the standard C++
Cons: for advanced readers


If u think u know everything about C++ read this book then make a C++ compiler. If u can u probably know enough

Pros: It's comprehensive...(if it's not there it's not in the language!)
Cons: Not for the beginner


This is the reference for C++ but his style is not for the feint hearted. It has a number of good examples and explains why C++ is what it is but don't pick it up unless you already know the language.
