Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

I am yet to get anything to work on this distro im sorry for my low score and I do appreseate the work mandrake do but there distros are so newbie windows like, Im a slackware user now and I lOVE it the best thing ive eva done is changed to slack.
Install is great nice look and feel for the newbie like me, It did take a long time to install but you just dont look at it for a while and it all good.
It booted o.k. speed the first time but my modem in a winmodem which was a bit gay, but was still a lot nicer to me then mandrake 10 CE was, I cotomized it abit and got rid of that MS xp look and feel and i was sweet, got my modem going the secound distro or thrid i think i used slack but that was abit over hard for the newbie like me but from what ive read ill be usin it in a couplr of mouths lol.
They should have waited abit longer after there version 8 release so they would have more up2date stuff but its fine for me and what im using it for the main proplem was some of the network bugs etc, i hate them rh9 is alot better the mandrake 10 CE the offical release is surpost to have fixed them.
