After downloading Zorin 6, 6.3 and 7 can't boot or install any of them.
As mentioned on the subject line, I have downloaded three versions of Zorin OS (all free), because I want to ditch Windows for good. I am tired of having Microsoft telling me (forcing me) to buy new hardware just so I can use their software. I am on a limited budget because I am retired and live on a very small pension. After downloading the software, I extract the compressed files, burn them to a DVD so I can boot from this media, but my computer does not load Zorin files. Can somebody tell me what I am doing wrong? Am I missing some crucial step in the process? Please help me, I have tried other Linux OSs, (since ubuntu 8.0) but find them a little intimidating. The features that have attracted me most are (1)the similarity to XP desktop (this is the OS currently installed on my computer) and (2)the low system requirements to install Linux (I want to keep using my perfectly good OLD computer). I am enclosing two screenshots of the files I have burnt to DVD in the hope of helping anyone help me (I'm sort of desperate about this; please help!).
