Zenwalk 7.4, cannot connect to mirror

I am trying to update my software, but cannot connect to any mirror, I am offered 3 choices. I get the following message (screenshot)
There is nothing wrong with the connection, I am using it to post this
thread.
Are there other mirrors available for North America ? and how do I find them?
I have used Zenwalk before and had no problems, this is a new install. Cannot connect using GUI either.

Edit; at this Zenwalk package management site

http://manual.zenwalk.org/en/Package%20Management.html

It says this
“If you wish to edit, add mirrors that are not listed or remove mirrors, you can do so by writing down a mirror address in the box.”

So there must be other mirrors available?

Hi,

it seems that my hoster has made some cleanup in old releases (keeping only iso images)... weird

Why are you installing Zenwalk 7.4 ? is it for a 20 years old 32 bits CPU?

I'm rebuilding a packages tree for you

now (work in progress)

Thank you , I have been using Zenwalk 7.4 for awhile with no problems, but I rearranged my partition table and did a new install.
My computer is several years old, 64 bit. I didn't realize 7.4 was an old release, I will look for something newer.

Thumbs up

I am now up and running with Zenwalk 8.0 beta 3, very nice, an easy and quick 1 gb. download.
Straight forward install, no glitches or hiccups (except for lillo). Due to my multi-boot setup.
Lot's of improvements over 7.4, I'm impressed, still retains root account (a plus for me).
Neat tidy startscreen and desktop.
Connected to wifi like a dream. Chrome browser, another plus.
Boots fast. Maybe the biggest plus for me, it recognizes my hard drive temperature and activates the cooling fan, (not all distros do this) at least on my machine.
Do I sound happy?

I just tried this again.
http://www.linuxquestions.org/review...p?product=3370

It worked for me, but try the long route, go to Distro Reviews, under distributions find Beta,
click on my username on the right hand side. I hope it works, if you find it compare the URL.
