Wireless card

Hey Guys, need some input. I am looking for a good Atheros or Hermes/orinoco chipset based card. I am done trying to work with rt61 based card. Here is one that I have found. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...429613?ie=UTF8.
If anyone has any other suggestions then let me know. I am open to all opinions.

Post rt61

I had absolutely no trouble setting up the rt61 after I discarded the woeful instructions and read the manual on how to write my own boot-loaded module install for /etc/modprobe.conf

Performance seems to be down around 10mbps though. Perhaps I'm not using its full potential. I can throw together an install script, if anyone is interested, unless there is a better topic to post it under.

What about an Intel card? I got an Intel 2200BG card, it's just lovely :-). Best hardware buy I ever did! And it wasn't even the most expensive :P.

From an internet shop :-). Normally, the card is not sold separately (at least not by Intel), but if you have a good look around, you should be able to get it ;-). It cost me 30 €, no more.

All they have is miniPCI cards afaik... Is it only PCMCIA you want? I'd say, open up your laptop and put that wireless card in :P. That's what i did - and my laptop was only two weeks old. (Yeah, I know, warranty...). Of course, if you already got a miniPCI card and you need it...

My laptop is probably out of warranty already. I could always take out the ethernet controller since it never works anyway.
